After months of planning and trying to find a suitable location for a regular monthly meeting, I offered my home up to all of BrewVIC.
Our monthly meetings start on July 31st at 7 pm. The theme is “Brewing with Wheat.” We’ll have the Island Malster, Mike Doehnel, gives up a talk about, well, brewing with wheat. To learn more about Mike Doehnel read the previous post from Michael where he describes our field trip to Mike’s operations on the Saanich Peninsula. BrewVICer John Adair will talk about his experiences with brewing a Belgian Witbier. And Russ Huband will talk about his approach to American Wheat beers.
If you have any homebrewed wheat beer you’re encouraged to bring it. Of course, all other homebrew is highly welcomed.
